Live Review: Jinx Lennon at the Sugar Club

 

930Maverick, preacher, troubadour are just some of the words used to describe Jinx Lennonand as much can be said for the support acts at his album launch in the Sugar Club on Thursday night.

A night of rap and poetry ensued in theSugar Club and that’s before Jinx Lennonstrummed the first chord of his unique punk-eccentric-poetry-folk-funk-rock that attacks the core of social consciousness. At first, he brings a smile to your face but then the words sink in and the preaching of truth creates a discerning feeling as the themes become a little too close to home.
